In a sparkling, enchanted bay, a young porpoise named Porpoise spends his days exploring the secret corners of the water. One day he meets Sealy, a playful harbor seal pup balancing seaweed on his nose, and the two become fast friends. They chase bubbles, race through the shallows and practice silly flips together, happy in each other's company.
When Sealy discovers a maze of underwater caves, the friends decide to explore it as a team. Inside, the water is cool and quiet, full of glittering stones, strange shapes and sleepy fish. But the tunnels all look alike, and soon the light from the entrance fades and the two are lost in the dark. Porpoise feels frightened, yet Sealy reminds him that they are a team: Porpoise listens for sounds that might lead them home while Sealy feels the tunnel walls with his whiskers. Step by step, they follow the rush of water, the hum of the current and the whoosh of the tide toward a tiny blue glow.
The story is a gentle adventure about friendship, courage and teamwork. It shows young readers that everyone has different strengths, and that trusting and helping one another can turn fear into hope. It is suited to children who enjoy animal stories and simple tales of cooperation, and to parents and teachers looking for a warm read about working together.

The Little Porpoise - Author : Aysel Banu YAVUZAL
In the enchanted bay, the water sparkled like a million tiny diamonds. Little Porpoise swam through the gentle waves, his blue-grey skin smooth and his pale belly bright. He loved to explore the secret corners of the bay. Every day brought a new adventure, and today felt extra special. 'Hello, world!' he chirped, feeling happy and free. 1
As Little Porpoise glided past a rocky point, he spotted someone new. A harbor seal pup was balancing a piece of seaweed on his nose! His spotted grey-brown fur was mottled with dark patches, and his long whiskers twitched with fun. 'Hi there!' said the seal. 'I'm Sealy. Want to play?' Little Porpoise grinned. 'I'm Porpoise. Let's be friends!' 2
Porpoise and Sealy became fast friends. They chased bubbles, raced through the shallows, and practiced silly flips. Sealy's big round eyes sparkled with mischief. 'Race you to the old buoy!' he barked. Porpoise's short dorsal fin cut through the water as he zoomed ahead. 'You're fast!' laughed Sealy. 'But I know a secret!' They tumbled together, happy as two clams. 3
One morning, Sealy whispered, 'I found something amazing—a maze of underwater caves!' Porpoise's dark eyes grew wide. 'Is it safe?' he asked. 'We'll go together,' said Sealy bravely. 'Teamwork makes it safe!' So they swam to the cave mouth, a dark and mysterious hole in the rock. Porpoise felt a tiny flutter in his belly, but he trusted his friend. 4
Inside the first cave, the water was cool and quiet. Strange shapes loomed in the dim light, but Sealy's whiskers twitched as he felt the walls. 'This way!' he called. Porpoise followed close, his small flippers paddling steadily. They twisted and turned through tunnels, past glittering stones and sleepy fish. 'Wow!' breathed Porpoise. 'It's like a secret world!' Sealy nodded, his round eyes shining. 5
Deeper and deeper they swam, until the light from the entrance faded away. 'Sealy?' Porpoise whispered. 'It's dark.' Sealy's whiskers brushed the rocky walls. 'Don't worry,' he said. 'We'll find our way.' But every tunnel looked the same. They turned left, then right, then left again. The maze was tricky, and soon they were lost in the dark. 6
Porpoise felt his heart beat fast. 'What if we never get out?' he said. Sealy touched his nose to Porpoise's side. 'Remember, we're a team,' he said gently. 'Your ears are better than mine. Listen for sounds that might lead us home.' Porpoise took a deep breath. He closed his eyes and listened hard. Then he heard it—a soft, rushing sound. 7
Porpoise tilted his small head. 'I hear water moving,' he said. 'It's coming from that way!' Sealy's whiskers quivered as he felt the tunnel walls. 'This passage is wide,' he said. 'Let's follow it.' They swam side by side, Porpoise listening and Sealy feeling. The dark didn't seem so scary now. They were working together, and that made all the difference. 8
The tunnel twisted and turned, but Porpoise kept listening. 'The sound is getting louder!' he said. Sealy's whiskers brushed against a smooth rock. 'Careful,' he said. 'There's a sharp turn ahead.' They slowed down and felt their way around. Porpoise heard a new sound—a gentle hum. 'That's the current!' he said. 'It's pulling us toward the exit!' 9
Suddenly, Sealy stopped. 'My whiskers feel a wall,' he said. 'We can't go forward.' Porpoise listened again. 'The current is coming from the left,' he said. 'Let's try there.' They turned left and swam on. Sealy's whiskers found a narrow gap. 'This way!' he called. They squeezed through and kept going, their friendship lighting the way. 10
Then Porpoise heard a new sound—a soft whooshing. 'That's the tide!' he said. 'It's coming from the bay!' They followed the sound, and the water grew brighter. 'Look!' cried Sealy. 'A light!' A tiny blue glow appeared ahead. They swam faster, their hearts full of hope. The light grew bigger and brighter. 'We're almost there!' Porpoise cheered. 11
They burst out of the cave into the bright, sparkling bay. The sun danced on the waves, and the fresh air filled their lungs. 'We made it!' shouted Sealy, flipping with joy. Porpoise spun in a happy circle. 'We did it together!' he said. They bumped noses and laughed. The enchanted bay had never looked so beautiful. Their teamwork had brought them home. 12
Sealy looked at Porpoise with admiration. 'You were amazing,' he said. 'Your ears saved us.' Porpoise shook his head. 'Your whiskers felt the way,' he said. 'We both saved us.' They swam back to their favorite rock, tired but proud. 'Let's promise to always help each other,' said Sealy. 'Deal,' said Porpoise. And they sealed it with a fin bump. 13
From that day on, Porpoise and Sealy explored everywhere together. They knew that no matter what, they could count on each other. The enchanted bay was full of wonders, and they discovered new ones every day. But their best discovery was friendship. 'Ready for another adventure?' Sealy would ask. 'Always!' Porpoise would answer, his dark eyes twinkling. 14
One evening, as the sun set over the bay, Porpoise and Sealy rested on the surface. The sky was pink and gold. 'Do you think we'll ever get lost again?' asked Porpoise. 'Maybe,' said Sealy. 'But we'll always find our way back together.' They watched the stars appear. The bay was calm and peaceful, and their hearts were full of happiness.
